Honey a.k.a.
Mitsikuni from
The Ouran High School Host Club (as if you didn't already know! =P) This one was a real cutie. Thanks for letting me take your photo! Some intriguing interpretations of the
Haruhi uniforms. The only
Haruhi cosplay that I saw the whole day.I didn't realise that this guy posed for my photo until I uploaded it when I got home. He was actually mid-conversation with a stall owner but still noticed and gave me a smile. Lulz. (and I wasn't even taking a photo of him specifically).
Mikuru Asahina (and her BF?!? Kyon must be jealous)
Pokemon!!! ZOMG it's
Ed again! (and the mysterious friend in green... didn't know who she was cosplaying as)
Not sure who this is.
This Vocaloid cosplayers blew all the others right out of the water! They were def professionals.
Is that The Doctor?! (centre) and his friend, Hikaru Hitachiin?
We took a lunch break and had a mini photoshoot. See my full cosplay on
my cosplay.comDon't fall in, Misa!
Raimei from Nabari no Ou.
K-9!!!!!
One of my favourite cosplays of the day -
Howl's Moving Castle. But I'm a sucker for all cosplay from
Miyazaki films. These guys did a pretty
funny skit too. I was sad that they didn't get a place in the cosplay contest.
All the Madman Cosplay Competition entrants. Some of the cosplays included:
Rosario Vampire, Avatar, Naruto, Vocaloid, Gundam, Shugo Chara! and many more. The Gundam 00 group was pretty amazing.
It was such a fun day! I'm already super-excited for Supanova 2010! Next year we will hopefully give the cosplay contest a go too. But in the meantime, SMASH! is coming up in August. Our cosplay schedule is Death Note on day 1, and Shuffle! on day 2. I hope it's as fun as Supanova ^-^
